Tau Epsilon Rho will hold its 81st Annual Meeting & National Convention at the Wyndham Miami Beach Resort on South Miami Beach beginning Thursday, December 27, 2001 and continuing through Tuesday, January 1, 2002. David Liner, our perennial convention planner has done it again with a fabulous room rate of $125.00 per night and a discounted rate of $115.00 per night for family members staying in additional adjoining rooms. These rates are available on a limited basis from December 21st through January 3rd and are available to Tau Epsilon Rho registrants and their guests only!! fabulous rates are also available for upgrading to oceanfront rooms and suites.

The Wyndham Miami Beach Resort, formerly The Doral, has recently undergone major renovations in addition to the change in ownership. It has a full spa and fitness center with steam and sauna, swimming pool and beach facilities, and the other normal amenities associated with a first class hotel and resort in the South Beach area of Miami Beach.

The  $400.00 per couple convention tax covers the opening night dinner, planned Continuing Legal Education, National Council breakfasts and meetings, and an installation dinner with an entertaining program. As always, there will be nightly hospitality,  and a New Year’s Eve reception in our private hospitality suite.

This is just a brief description of what is being planned for this year’s convention. Look for additional details in the convention mailing, in the Fall issue of the Summons, and here on the web site.

Because this is a very busy travel time to south Florida, we recommend you book your air travel now. To make your reservations at the Wyndham Miami Beach Resort, call the hotel at 1-800-20EVENT. and tell them you are with the TER convention to get our great rates.

We look forward to seeing everyone in Miami Beach this winter.
